Charging System Testing

The Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (EVI) laboratory team within INL's Vehicle Systems Group is tasked by the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Vehicle Technologies Office (VTO) to conduct various types of testing and evaluation on vehicle charging infrastructure including wireless charging, and conductive charging (L1, L2, and DCFC) and power quality of charging system. This work supports the DOE goal of supporting the development and harmonization of codes and standards for vehicle charging systems through test data and results from both on-road and laboratory testing and evaluation.
